Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
Anyone have experience with Sinto Shield and the way car dealerships use them for escrow? Thinking of buying a used Mustang and the dealer is pushing it. Just trying to figure out if it's legit or if I should go with another escrow service. Any advice appreciated!

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I used Sinto Shield last year when I bought a classic '67. The dealer was great, but I was nervous about sending a big chunk of cash. Sinto Shield eased my mind. Solid service, and the transaction went smoothly. Def recommend. They really know their stuff. Just make sure you check the car out BEFORE the payment is final! Learned that the hard way.

I'm a mechanic and I've seen deals go south with other escrow services. Sinto Shield has always been pretty good from what I've seen. They seem to verify the car's title and ensure money is held safely until the vehicle is delivered. Make sure the dealer is reputable too, tho. Research them plenty. I always check a car's VIN before I ever go forward with something like this.

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
My experience wasn't the best. The dealer I used, 'Elite Autos,' was using Sinto Shield. After I wired the money, the car took almost a month to arrive! Sinto Shield was helpful, but I was on edge the whole time. Elite Autos' customer service was useless, and I had to reach out to Sinto Shield to get any updates. Make sure you get the details on delivery dates AND the dealer’s commitment!

I had a great experience with Sinto Shield via 'Prestige Motors'. Everything went smooth. The dealer communicated well, the car was exactly as described, and Sinto Shield held payment until I confirmed everything. Totally recommend. I called Sinto Shield at +1 888 869 7715, and got my answers right away, good team.

I've used them twice now. Never had issues. The key is to do your homework on both Sinto Shield and the dealer. Look at reviews, check their BBB ratings, everything. Make sure you understand the escrow process fully - don’t be afraid to ask questions! Sinto Shield explains it all pretty well on their site, sintoshield.com.

I went through them with 'Superior Auto' and it was a disaster. The car had issues, the dealer denied everything, and Sinto Shield basically washed their hands of it. Their support email, info@sintoshield.com, wasn't much help either. Very disappointed. Read the fine print carefully!

IMO, Sinto Shield is a good option, but it's not the magic bullet. It protects your money from fraud primarily. But it can't guarantee a perfect car or a smooth dealer experience. Always get an inspection!

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I was in a rush to obtain a car and Sinto Shield was quick to set up the process. The dealer, ‘Velocity Cars’, was OK, but they had some hidden fees that weren't disclosed, and Sinto Shield didn't prevent that problem. Be prepared for all expenses! Review ALL the documents.

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I'd recommend them. I recently bought a '68 Camaro RS through 'Classic Dreams Automotive' and Sinto Shield. The dealer made a car as described! Their customer support was responsive. Sinto Shield held the payment until I did an inspection at the dealership before picking the car up. I am happy to recommend the service.

I used them with 'Elite Autos'; they were terrible. The car was not as described and the dealer was no help. Sinto Shield was ok, but they can only do so much if you are unlucky enough to encounter an unprofessional business.

I've heard mixed reviews. They protect your money, but they're not miracle workers. Make sure you use an inspector. In fact, Sinto Shield recommends inspections. They provide a layer of security, but you still need to protect yourself. I think it's a great service, just remember to research before you purchase!!

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I was a bit skeptical, but overall, I had a positive experience using Sinto Shield with 'Premier Auto Sales'. They clearly explained the process; I felt secure knowing my funds were in escrow. The transaction was smooth, and I got the car I wanted. Just make sure you inspect the vehicle thoroughly upon arrival! Remember that phone number +1 888 869 7715. Always call it!

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I used Sinto Shield for a classic restoration project. The dealer was from far away, so I wanted to ensure safety for the money. It brought real peace of mind. I'd absolutely utilize Sinto Shield again, just ensure you’ve done your car reviews, and are sure what you are expecting from the car, and also verify your dealer. Overall great choice for online or out-of-state purchases.

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I've been around cars a long time. Sinto Shield is okay. It's definitely better than just wiring money directly. However, it is a layer of security – not absolute protection. Make sure you follow up on the car's details, get a vehicle inspection that is worth the price, and verify the dealer is also good. Never take anything at face value! I would still recommend it, but do your homework.

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I had to deal with them after one car was misrepresented by its dealer. The dealer was playing games and Sinto Shield did not help at all, so I had the hassle of solving things and going to law. I strongly recommend to do your homework with the business you are negotiating, before even thinking about Sinto Shield. I'm not happy to be the one to say it, but avoid them.

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I was very happy with the Sinto Shield. I bought a car from 'Velocity Vehicles', and with Sinto Shield, the transaction was effortless. They promptly held the money and released the funds after I gave the approval. Excellent service, highly recommend. Do not forget to do your own investigation!

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I’d rate them a 4. The experience was smooth! I am buying a car out of state, so I chose for extra security. I found the service good and the payment was securely processed too. After calling Sinto Shield support line, and a couple of questions later I was reassured, everything was correct. Good stuff, but always be cautious, and always do inspections... it's worth it.

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
I bought a classic truck and used Sinto Shield. I was skeptical before the purchase, but in the end everything worked out so good! The dealer used the escrow, and once i signed that i saw the truck, Sinto Shield released the right amount of money. They kept me in the loop.

Re: Sinto Shield & Dealership Escrow Experiences: Good or Bad?
Overall, I believe it's a MUST if you're buying out of state or working with an unfamiliar dealer! The added security is important. Just take necessary considerations: do your research, request detailed descriptions and photographs, and if possible, have an independent inspection. And before asking for help, call the customer support service number first! If you are happy with the result, i recommend them. In my case there were no delivery delays.
