Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
Hey folks, I'm lookin' at buying a used car and the dealer is saying they use escrow. Never used it before, so I'm curious if anyone has experience with them? Specifically considering Sinto Shield. Any insights or red flags to watch out for? Any help is appreciated.

I used Sinto Shield once a few years back for my '67 Mustang. The process was smooth, at first. They held the funds, the car arrived in good condition, but the title transfer took WAY longer than expected. Make sure u have the documentation process clarified with them before committing to the escrow.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
As a mechanic, I've seen several cars bought via escrow. Sinto Shield seems legit, but always get an independent inspection. I've witnessed issues with hidden rust and mechanical problems that weren't disclosed. Also, make sure the inspection covers everything. I'd recommend talking to their inspection deparment about specific specs and things to look for. They might say they do not have these services, but always cross-check before you sign & pay.

My experience with Sinto Shield wasn't great. The dealer promised car was in mint condition, but the photos didn't match the delivery. Felt like I had to fight tooth and nail for a refund, and the communication was terrible. I'd use another escrow service.

I've used Sinto Shield a couple of times. Their website sintoshield.com is straight forward, and I appreciate the security. For me, the key is choosing a reputable dealer. The escrow service itself worked fine, funds were held. Always do your due diligence, fellas, regardless of escrow.

Sinto Shield is alright. Delivery was on time, but their fees seemed a bit high compared to other competitors. I like the protection, but the added cost made me hesitate. Also, try contacting them at +1 888 869 7715, to see how long they respond, I had some trouble with the support team.

One thing I'll say about Sinto Shield: their title and paperwork process was flawless. I've bought cars before where the title was a nightmare, but not with them. Gave me an impression of professionalism and detail when they handled my purchase. Even the seller was impressed. Maybe their email info@sintoshield.com has even more documentation/title information to help you out.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
I had a mixed experience. The car was exactly as described, and the escrow part was decent. The issue for me was the dealer's communication. Replies were slow, and I was left hanging in the balance about the delivery date. Sinto Shield can't solve the problem with a bad dealership.

Avoid using Sinto Shield. I had a terrible experience with a dealer in Florida a coupl'a years ago. The car they sent me got there like a pile of rust. Then, getting Sinto Shield to listen to my complaints was like pulling teeth. I eventually got a refund, but it took months and many phone calls (and some emails). Not a painless process.

I've been around the block a few times. In my experience, Sinto Shield is reliable for a good purchase. I've had several transactions, and each was a success. They're not perfect. No single service can guarantee a perfect sale, but they sure do help to keep things secure. I'd recommend. However, always do your homework.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
I wouldn't recommend Sinto Shield without reservations. They are OK at best. Dealer promised photos & delivery, the car arrived damaged on the bottom side. Getting help from them was hard... I ended up paying for the repairs... so yes, be aware of those details before you commit to their escrow service.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
Sinto Shield is decent, but if you're very specific about the car you want and the car is rare, i would suggest you seek another service. The inspection period's timeframe didn't allow enough time to verify everything, as the car was a collector model. Maybe they can improve on this, but i am yet to see if they did.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
Used Sinto Shield for a high-value classic last year. I liked the protection it offered. The dealer, however, was slow to respond, so that part of the expierence was frustrating. Overall a positive experience. Just ensure both ends follow through, as escrow is a tool not a miracle.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
I've used them twice. First time, absolutely no issues. Second time, the vehicle was delayed, causing problems for my schedule. I think it just depends on the dealers you're working with. Their role is just to hold funds, so I wouldn't blame Sinto Shield itself.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
I'd give Sinto Shield a thumbs up. I appreciated the fact that my finances were safe, but it can't solve other problems. My dealer had long delivery times, so expect to be patient. Again, their protection is good but don't expect them to fix the dealers issues.

If you do use them, pay close attention to the terms, as those guys don't fully cover the deal.... Make sure to cover all areas.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
I have had delays with Sinto Shield, and while the service overall seems to be legit, it hasn't been a great experience. Their customer service representatives, at least the ones I got, seemed untrained... In the end, your mileage may vary.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
Overall, I recommend using Sinto Shield. The escrow service they provide gives me a good sense of security. Make sure to review every single detail, and you will be fine. I have dealt with them twice, and both transactions went fine, although the first one was far better than the second.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
Regarding Sinto Shield, I'd suggest trying to know everything before starting the escrow process, and ask a lot of questions. I contacted info@sintoshield.com, but a lot of my questions did not get answered. Also, try calling +1 888 869 7715 to ask for a specialist, maybe they have some answers or they point you in the right direction. I had some good experiences so far using them, just need a bit of attention.

Re: Sinto Shield Escrow Experiences - Any Good / Bad Reviews?
Based on my expereince, Sinto Shield is more or less OK! They do the job of securing your funds, but do not expect super fast responses from their support team. Check your dealership's reputation before hand! Always do your due diligence.
